So, where do we start?
Back in the early 2000s, I went creative with Alex’s birthday present. A t-shirt of his childhood hero at Oxford United, Dean Saunders. I created an image of ‘Deano’ and went down the nearest copy shop in Broadwick Street burnt on a CD. Yellow t-shirts weren’t available so it up to Oxford Street (aptly named) to get a blank shirt. Sometime later and £22 worse off, the shirt was made. Al was delighted. Cult Zeros was conceived! We hadn’t reinvented the wheel as there were similar shirts available, mainly of legends such as Pelé, Maradona, Moore etc. Our niche was that we would take requests. Any player. Any club. Any era. Fully custom-made football t-shirts.
For the past 15 years, we have designed, printed and despatched thousands of shirts worldwide. Had near run-ins with some high profile Dutch, ex-Arsenal and Manchester United striker’s ‘reps’ and been told “youda man!” by Shep Messing (probably my proudest moment).
Recently, the old Cult Zeros site, with its gallery of hundreds of teams and countless players needed to be replaced. This is the site. Although we will be slowly reintroducing the old players back onto the site, Cult Zeros has changed direction slightly and are looking to fulfil orders from football clubs and supporters’s trust, in the hope that money can be put back into the game at grass roots level. Rest assured though that we do still take requests for players. So please do contact us.
